On the 14th, Eargada Co., Ltd., which develops and operates the short-form audio content platform ‘Nadio’, announced that it will launch ‘Nadio Studio’, an AI voice font-based audio content production service.

Nadio Studio is a service that allows customers to create content with voice font (text-to-speech), an AI voice synthesized from their own voice, by typing in the desired sentence. The created audio content can be downloaded from the service for customers to utilize in various places, not just the Nadio app.

In particular, Nadio Studio is the first in the industry to introduce an audio content creation system based on personalized voice fonts. Voice fonts are created by building a model that captures the unique phonetic features of an individual's voice, such as pitch, tone, and intonation by generating a synthetic voice that mimics the individual's voice.

Nadio Studio, which makes it easy to create audio content based on voice fonts, will be updating its Voice Market to allow customers to trade voice fonts amongst themselves in the first half of this year, as well as other features such as voice speed adjustment.

"AI voice fonts are expected to be used in a variety of fields, including audiobooks, dramas, games, and AI assistants," said Ja-in Choi and HYUNAH PARK, Co-Founder and CEO of Eargada. "We expect a new type of AI marketplace to form, where users can monetize their voices through the marketplace and businesses have an exciting opportunity to leverage highly personalized voices."

Launched in 2021, 'Nadio' received seed investment from SparkLab within a month of launching the app in recognition of its technology and growth. 'Nadio' has successfully produced and mounted voice font-based content from actors Yoo-sun Yoon, Min- seo Kim, and Ho Im. In addition, the company has provided audio content and APIs based on Nadio voice fonts to Kyobo Life Insurance, KT GiGA Genie, KPR, Gamer Republic, and MedGo, and have partnered with large companies such as KT, Naver, and Kyobo Life Insurance to produce and supply Nadio content.
