Home short-term rental platform 33m2 releases Android app version 2.0

Proptech startup SpaceV announced on the 15th that it has released the 2.0 version of its Android app for its home short-term rental platform,33m2.

In this 33m2 version 2.0, extensive updates have been made to improve user convenience and service functions. △ Provides an intuitive and user-friendly interface with UI/UX improvements, △ Strengthens search and chat functions to help users quickly and efficiently find short-term rental housing they want. In addition, △ app stability has been improved through overall performance improvements. As a result of actively reflecting user feedback, users can now make short-term rental contracts more easily and conveniently using 33m2, and the variety of housing options has increased.

33M2, the largest real estate short-term rental platform in Korea, was first released in December 2019. At the time of release, it was not able to achieve outstanding results online while simultaneously using offline services, but as it began to focus on mobile app services, it recorded 100,000 app downloads in 2022 and recorded 500,000 downloads in May this year, a year later.

In addition to existing short-term rental demand such as business trips, moving, and interior renovation, new demand such as overseas inflow after the corona pandemic, workation, living for a month, and living independently has increased. In recent years, there has been a growing interest in weekly rental agreements among young people due to high interest rates and the risk of rental fraud, and the demand is expected to increase further.

"As a leader in the real estate short-term rental market, 33m2 will continue to make quick and continuous updates to meet the diverse needs of our users and the changing environment," said Hyung Jun Park, CEO of SpaceV.
