PMx Demonstrates Medical AI Solution in the Radiological Society of North America 'RSNA 2022'

Announcement of research abstract "Intersection of digital phenotyping and image-based nosology - A practical precision psychiatry protocol"

PMx, a start-up specializing in medical AI, participated in the Radiological Society of North America 2022 (RSNA 2022) in Chicago, USA, to demonstrate its medical AI solutions and to present a research abstract.

Marking its 108th anniversary, RSNA 2022 is the world's largest radiology society and technology exhibition held every year since 1915, with more than 500,000 radiologists and industry officials participating to share the latest academic achievements and industry information. RSNA 2022 is expected to attract the largest crowd since COVID-19.

PMx will exhibit product introduction and product-specific demonstrations at the AI showcase booth (PMx booth #4343, South Hall Level 3, McCormick Place). PMx will introduce three products: ChestOMX, a lung CT AI solution that has recently entered the Indian market successfully, BrainOMX, an integrated MRI AI solution with brain structure, and BodyOMX, a multi-model full-body analysis AI solution.

In addition, PMx's research abstract of “Intersection of digital phenotyping and image-based nosology - A practical precision psychiatry protocol" identifies mental diseases through the cross-analysis of health information from smartphone usages and medical images, which presents practical and precise psychiatric protocols.

In this study, PMx's AI solution uses a protocol that combines smartphone data and MRI-based neuroimaging data, which is expected to help medical staff accurately diagnose neural mechanisms, such as depression and objectively measure brain structure and function.

Hansuk Kim, CEO of PMx, said, "At this RSNA, we will introduce PMx's latest technology that can reduce the time and cost of both doctors and patients using AI to radiology officials and discuss cooperation with global medical institutions and companies."

Girish Srinivasan (CTO, Girish Srinivasan, Ph.D.) will conduct an on-site presentation on a precision medical imaging platform that helps diagnose through AI under the theme of "AI Assisted Precision Radiology Platform” in the AI Theater announcement section at 11:30 a.m. local time on November 29.
